Indian cricketer Virat Kohli graciously presented his autographed jersey to Pakistan captain Babar Azam following the World Cup match at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
In a widely circulated video, Kohli was captured handing over his jersey to Babar.
However, this didn’t go down well with Wasim Akram, who slammed Pakistan skipper for taking the jersey right after an embarrassing defeat.
“Babar should have not met Kohli in the ground. This was not the situation to meet Kohli openly. Babar should have taken the shirt privately from Virat,” Wasim said on a local channel.
Rohit Sharma’s 86 and an inspired bowling display helped India hammer Pakistan by seven wickets in their high-profile clash.
