Here are the ICC Men’s Player of the Month Nominees for August:

  1. Babar Azam (PAK): Babar, who has already earned various personal accolades, including the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year, had an outstanding month. He scored 53 and 60 in the ODI series against Afghanistan, contributing to a 3-0 victory. In the Asia Cup opener, he scored a massive 151, leading Pakistan to a resounding win over Nepal.
  2. Shadab Khan (PAK): Shadab Khan, nominated for the first time in the Player of the Month awards, made significant contributions with both bat and ball in August. His performance against Afghanistan included a crucial three-wicket haul in the final ODI, securing a whitewash. In the Asia Cup, he shone with a spell of four for 27 in Pakistan’s victory against Nepal.
  3. Nicholas Pooran (WI): Nicholas Pooran played a pivotal role in the West Indies’ T20I series victory over India, amassing 176 runs in five outings.
